Barbour Rock Trail is a trail just outside of Colton Point State Park. The trail has a small pull off right beside the beginning, but there is a large parking lot across the road, so it has plenty of space for people.
The trail comes in two parts. There is a shorter but more outdoorsy trail, and there is a handicap accessible trail. Taking both results in a loop of about 1.2 miles or so. The handicap accessible trail is slightly longer, and round trip would be about 1.4 miles.
The outdoorsy trail is packed dirt, but there isn't much verticality, and not many roots, so not terrible. The handicap accessible trail is level packed gravel, so a nice, simple walk. The Rim Trail also meets up around the viewpoint, so you can do a bit more trail exploring if the 1.5 miles or so isn't enough.
The overlook itself is okay. It is like the previous Four-mile vista where the viewpoint is quite framed. There is a proper overlook, though, so fences and a bench to sit on an look out of. From the main overlook, if you walk down the outdoorsy trail a bit there are some more sections that give nice views, but they don't seem to be developed.
Overall, I would recommend this stop. It is relatively short, taking about 30 minutes or so, but the trail has a greater effect of bringing you into nature than all the other view points in Colton Point State Park that you can basically drive right up to.
